Hi, I am an artist offering original or custom artwork for sale. I have studied at the College of Charleston, SC. There I received the Outstanding Artist award of my graduating class. Life took a turn from there with a family and new direction as a first grade teacher. Then COVID came and I got back into my art. I began entering artwork in shows and was chosen as an emerging artist in the St Louis, Clayton program. since then I have been excepted into a number of Art Fairs in St. Louis and Illinois. I even had a painting on Donnybrook PBS television show for 4 weeks during April and May of 2024. Most recently I received the Arts Council Choice Award of my Iris painting and the Award of Excellence at the Midwest Salute to the Arts in Fairview Heights, Illinois August 23-25, 2024.
Much of my work is oil on stretched canvas. Oil allows me to work freely, changing and forming the painting as I go. I focus on detail, color, and play with the composition whether as one panel or break the subject up into several panels where they work individually or as one.
If you go to my gallery you will see I have many originals for purchase. I am also able to do custom work if you have something in mind. Together we can discuss what it is you would like along with the cost. In my gallery you will see work that is for sale, work already purchased along with custom pieces I have done.
